FAQ’s on our Personality Profile Questionnaires, UK

Personality Report Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the most common questions that our clients ask us about our Persona Report and Personality Profiling System.  If the answer to your question is not found below, please e-mail us on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Each question is made up of four sets of three words. Firstly choose the set of words that is most like you and rank this 4, then choose the set of words that is next most like you and rank this 3, then choose the set of words that is third most like you and rank this 2 and finally choose the set of words that is least like you and rank this 1.

For each question you should have a set of words ranked 1, 2, 3 and 4. Each set of words must be ranked and you cannot rank two sets of words the same or the system will now allow you to proceed.

If you click the next button and the system does not allow you to proceed, please check that you have ranked each set of three words with a different number. For each question, you should have a set of words ranked 1, 2, 3 and 4. If any sets of words are not ranked, or are ranked with the same number, the system will not allow you to continue.

In most cases your report will be generated as a pdf file and e-mailed to you once you have completed the questionnaire.

If you have completed the questionnaire as part of a training course, you may receive a paper copy of your report during your training. If you would like an electronic copy of your report, in pdf format, please contact us on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

When a number of people in the same organisation have completed a Persona report, we can produce a Team Wheel. This shows everyone's position on the Persona Wheel relative to each other.

If you feel that your report does not describe you well, in whole or in part, please let us know by contacting This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The questionnaire that you fill in asks you to rank four sets of three words to say which is most, second most, third most and least like you. Your response to each question translates into a score for each colour - Blue, Red, Yellow and Green – as each question is, in essence, asking "How much of each colour energy do you see in yourself?"

Each question uses four sets of three words. We use three words as one word alone can describe any of the colours, but when taken together, these sets of three words can separate the colour energies to measure each individual's preference.

The overall score for each colour and the order of your colour preferences gives your graph. The system selects statements that apply to a particular graph shape and shows your position on the wheel to match your mix of colour preference to produce your overall report.

The Persona system has an in-built validation system, allowing us to assess results instantly and improve our questionnaire should a question not be generating the correct results.

The system generates a graph of the collective responses from a group of people and these are analysed to ensure that they follow the expected pattern on an overall basis. For example, red and green are psychological opposites. If we run the validation graph for a group of people with high red scores overall, we would expect to see red as the highest and green as the lowest score for each question. If this is not the case, we look carefully at the question to see why this might be happening and can then improve the question to ensure that the red people pick the red answer.

If you would like to know more about the validation of the system, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to discuss this.

A range of training materials are available to accompany the reports. These include:

  • How to present the Persona report – a guide on how to introduce and present the Persona report to a team.
  • Trainers exercises – a number of exercise that can be run with different sizes of groups to introduce the idea of colour preference.
  • Slides – a set of editable slides that can be used in explaining the different colour energies and presenting the report.
  • Managers guide to using Persona in a team meeting – a guide for a manager running a short workshop with his or her team, aimed at improving communication within the team using Persona reports.

There are a number of sections available for the Persona report and we can produce a report using any combination of these, to suit your requirements. Furthermore we can add your logos and customised introduction and conclusion pages to the report. Please call us to discuss how we can adapt the Persona report to suit your requirements.

Some recent versions of Internet Explorer have compatibility conflicts with the system. If nothing happens when you select Start, please select Tools then Compatibility View. We are working with Microsoft for a fix to this problem and apologise for any inconvenience that this causes you in the meantime.

If some members of the team do not have internet access, we suggest that they complete the questionnaire on someone else's PC or laptop which does have internet access. We can arrange for a link to be set up for them to click on and complete the feedback when they can access a PC for around 15 minutes.

If access to a computer is not possible at all, we can provide a paper based version of the questionnaire for you to print out and pas to them to fill in. You can then return it to us by post and we will enter it onto the system to produce their report.
