You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your question.

You will receive an e-mail from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it containing a link to the online 360 degree feedback system.  This link takes you directly to your 360 feedback set up page where you can enter details of your colleagues to provide feedback.

For each colleague, you will need to state the relationship to you (e.g. Line Manager, Peer Group, Direct Report, Client), enter their name and their e-mail address, then click the Save icon to generate the feedback request to that colleague. Please note: the names will appear on the e-mails to your colleagues as they are typed.

Once you have entered your colleagues, you can proceed to your self-assessment.

You can enter an additional colleague or client in the same way as you set up your initial colleagues list, at any time during the 360 degree feedback process.

If, for any reason, you wish to remove a colleague or client from the list of those completing your feedback, click on the link to from your original e-mail to take you to your set up page. Click the red cross next to the relevant person's name at the right hand side of the screen. The system will ask you to confirm that you wish to delete this colleague so click OK to delete.

To amend an e-mail address for a colleague already entered onto the system, simply amend the e-mail address from the set up screen, then click the Save icon.

You can then re-send the feedback request e-mail to the corrected e-mail address by clicking on the envelope with green arrow icon next to the relevant person's name.

There is no minimum but we suggest inputting the details of at least three colleagues or clients, plus your line manager.  It helps to add a few extra people to allow for the ones that don't accept the invitation to complete your feedback.

Once you have set up your colleagues, your self-assessment will be available for you to complete.  The Self-Assessment is accessed using the button at the bottom of the set up page.

At the end, please ensure you click the 'Submit' button to incorporate your self-assessment into the report.

Some recent versions of Internet Explorer have compatibility conflicts with the system. If nothing happens when you select Start, please select Tools then Compatibility View. We are working with Microsoft for a fix to this problem and apologise for any inconvenience that this causes you in the meantime.

The deadline is just to ensure that most people provide feedback in time. All feedback will be stored after the deadline and will be available for your report. You can download your updated report once a colleague has submitted their feedback – please see When can I access my report? below.

The deadline is a guide to try to ensure that most people provide feedback in time. All feedback will be stored after the deadline and will be available in the report which the participant can download again after new feedback has been added.

You can check who has completed your feedback at any time during the 360 degree feedback process from your set up page. The system will send out reminders to your colleagues close to the closing date for feedback, however a personal reminder from you may help.

If you are completing the report as part of training, you may receive your report in paper format during the training. Otherwise you will receive an e-mail once the closing date for your 360 degree feedback has passed, informing you that your report is available. You can then download your report using the button at the bottom of your set up page.

Once the completion date for your 360 feedback has passed, you will receive an e-mail letting you know when your report is available to download. Download your report using the button at the bottom of your set up page.

Any feedback submitted after the closing date will be incorporated into the report. Reports are usually available from a few days after the closing date for one month. If you would like to access your report after this time, please e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

If you are participating in a 'Stretch' training programme, you will already have completed a 360 as part of your initial training. This 360 is a follow up to the one you completed previously. It is used to measure your progress and to show the effectiveness of the initial training that you received.

If the person does have access to e-mail, please let us know on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we can send an e-mail version of the feedback form to them. If they do not have access to e-mail or the internet, we can e-mail the form to you to print and pass on to them. We would then ask them to send the completed form by post to us to incorporate into your report. Please note that this will take longer than the online version.

If your colleague has completed your feedback but not hit the 'Submit' button at the end of the questionnaire, they will continue to receive reminders from the system. However the feedback they entered has been stored and will be incorporated into your report as we can change the status to submitted for them.

Yes, we can transfer your feedback to a later course if you have had to change the dates of your training.

We do not have foreign language versions of our existing questionnaires at this time, however your colleagues can submit the feedback in whatever language they choose. Their comments will appear on the report as they enter them in the questionnaire.

If you would like to set up a 360 degree feedback questionnaire another language, our system can do this. We ask that you provide the questions, report text and other surrounding text in your chosen language, or we can arrange for this to be translated. Please contact us to discuss a foreign language 360 degree feedback programme and translation costs.

What is 360 degree feedback?

Put simply, 360 degree feedback is the process of obtaining feedback on your performance from a variety of sources, at various levels, in your organisation.  Feedback is generally requested from subordinates, peers and managers or superiors and combined with a self-assessment to give a rounded and comprehensive review of performance.  It is sometimes called multi-rater feedback.

Traditional feedback is from a manager to their direct report.  A manager may obtain the views of other staff members, generally more senior staff, but the feedback comes via the manager.  Upward feedback is the process of getting feedback from your subordinates and this does add another dimension to traditional feedback, but it still follows the vertical lines in the organisational hierarchy.

360 degree feedback adds another dimension to traditional feedback, adding the views of people’s peer group and other colleagues who they come into contact with, but who are not closely connected in the organisational structure.  360 degree feedback can also encompass feedback from outside the organisation, from clients or customers, suppliers or other stakeholders.

A 360 degree feedback questionnaire asks each respondent the same set of questions about the person’s performance.  Many 360 degree feedback questionnaires are based around a set of competencies or behaviours and the questions are structured around how well the person demonstrates these.  Questionnaires generally include questions where the person is rated on a scale, and free text answers where the respondent can leave comments.  Most 360 degree feedback is anonymous, so responses are collated into a single report to be fed back to the person.
